Welcome to our website where hopefully you can keep up to date with the happenings around the place. Check in regularly for the latest news and events all year round.
Our Club was formed back in 1963 and since that time we have been developing strong traditions both on and off the field. We have many valuable hard workers whose time and effort keeps this place running smoothly.
We cater for all ages, 6 to 60+, boys & girls, men & women. So if you fancy a game or just want to spectate, you are most welcome. Enjoy our site.

Club Meeting 14th July 2009

All welcome. A meeting of all people involved in the Club will be held on Tuesday 14th July 2009 at the Clubrooms starting at 7:30pm. This meeting will about the 2009-2010 season and where the Club is going. Your involvement is requested as we need as many people involved as possible. if you or your child is involved at Upwey, you need to be at this meeting.
We need your help so please come along and see what you can do to help the Club. We need you, please.
Information concerning team structures as well as roles and responsibilities for the coming season will be decided. Have your say. It's your Club. See you at 7:30pm sharp.
Coaching Application Open

Applications Open for Coaching Staff
Senior & Junior Coaching positions are currently vacant and applications will close on 28 July 2009. Please submit your application by email to secretary@upweyftgbaseballclub.com detailing which team you are interested in. Coaching staff are required for this season in the following teams –
- 3rds
- 4ths
- Women’s
- Under 18’s (possibly 2)
- Under 16’s x 2
- Under 14’s
- Under 12’s x 2
- Tee Ball
If you wish to be involved, make sure you submit your application soon. Your commitment will be to attend at least one training night per week as well as on game day. Discounted fees apply to the Head Coach of each team.
Mitch Ayres Re-appointed Club Coach

Mitch re-appointed for 2 years
Following the Annual General Meeting held last Friday evening, the Club is delighted to announce the re-appointment of Mitch Ayres as the Club Coach of the Upwey FTG Tigers for the next 2 seasons.
The work done by Mitch and his assistants in not only changing the training regimes but the attitude and the atmosphere around the Tiger Dome has been welcomed and we all look forward to the continued success both on and off the field in coming seasons.
